PAR physicians, including residents have mobile access to their email, calendar and contact information. Residency intranet home page and schedules are available through smart phone browsers.
Also available through the physicians portal is quick access to Access Medicine, CDC mobile, Essential evidence plus, mobile Medline plus and many other mobile assess resources.
To prepare for the American Board of Internal Medicine Certifying Examination, board review sessions will be held Thursday afternoons during Ambulatory Clinic rotations. There are dedicated Morning Report sessions to board review and test taking.
Medical Grand Rounds is an example of how curriculum is moving towards anytime, anywhere access for learners. Webcasts will be available via the program intranet site.
Residents have intranet and home remote access to the Piedmont Athens Regional library including Up-to-Date and the Georgia Interactive Network (GaIN) which provides information services, in-depth library research assistance, expert literature research, electronic document delivery.
Residents receive an electronic set of learning objectives and a teaching syllabus at the beginning of each rotation. All evaluations by residents, faculty, program leadership and allied health are contained within the residency management system as well as Procedure logs.
Our residency will be all-digital for schedules, forms, and archived handouts and presentations and residents will have access to these documents and forms at home via remote access.
