Jane Huang, MD, MS, practices oncology and hematology at University Cancer and Blood Center in Athens. She graduated magma cum laude from the University of Georgia, where she was a Foundation Fellow. Following graduation, she studied art history for one year on a Rotary International Foundation scholarship at the University of Wales in Aberystwyth, UK. She earned her doctor of medicine degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. Following completion of her internal medicine residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, she was selected to serve as a chief resident, teaching and training residents as an attending instructor for an additional year.
Dr. Huang completed her fellowship in oncology and hematology at MD Anderson Cancer Center at the University of Texas in Houston. During her fellowship, she additionally earned a master of science degree in biomedical sciences focusing on patient based clinical research from the University of Texas. Dr. Huang is an attending physician at Athens Regional Medical Center, St. Mary's Healthcare system and Landmark Hospital in Athens and a consulting physician at Clearview Regional Medical Center in Monroe, where she currently is Chief of Medicine. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Georgia Regents University.
