Dr. Visitacion was awarded Resident of the Year and Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award by Arnold P. Gold Foundation. During his fellowship, he received the Young Investigator Award at the 18th CROI in Boston, MA. He has been involved in the teaching and training of medical students and residents over the past 10 years. He helped spearhead the Antibiotic Stewardship Initiative Program in ARMC and was the director for 2 years. He is presently the Chair of the Infection Control and Hospital Epidemiology in Saint Mary’s Hospital and Landmark Hospital. He has 5 peer-reviewed publications, 10 oral and poster presentations and numerous CME lectures and conference presentations.
Dr. Visitacion was born in the Philippines and is married to Claire who is also physician, an entrepreneur and is completing her Masters in Hospital Management. They have 2 lovely children. He loves gardening and collecting Japanese ornamental maple trees.
