Dr. Apaloo is enthusiastic about teaching others to teach, focusing on presentation skills, end-of-life medicine, high-value care, generational differences in healthcare education, and ethics and healthcare disparities.

Dr. Apaloo is actively engaged in the ACP, has been awarded LEAD certification and is a contributor to the ACP High Value Curriculum for residents.

She has been the recipient of several awards, most recently the 2013 Connecticut Chapter of American College of Physicians Laureate Award.

She remains clinically active as a primary care practitioner.

Personal Interests: 

Dr. Apaloo lives in Bogart with her husband. She has 3 children and is passionate about traveling all over the world to perform medical mission work.
